My Background

At Empowered Futures Ltd, we believe in the power of fostering resilience and growth after the significant life change that is divorce. I'm Leanne, and I'm the founder of this company. I'm also a mum of three, and a step-mum of two. I know, firsthand, the challenges of navigating a relationship ending. After multiple attempts at reconciliation, my husband and I had come to an impasse. He wasn't willing to do the work to end unhealthy patterns, and I made the decision to do that work for me.

During my own healing journey, I discovered the reality of controlling behaviours – financial, coercive, emotional, and mental abuse. It was a painful realisation, but it was also a catalyst for profound personal growth. Through therapy and support, I learned how to move past it, and I wanted to help others do the same.

In that process, I realised that my experiences hadn't been in vain. My purpose, I believe, is to support others, offering the frameworks and healing pathways that I was unable to find readily available. I wholeheartedly believe that, while narcissistic personality disorder exists, many patterns of abusive behaviour are learned, and that they can be unlearned.

I'm here to show you that there is life after divorce. I'm committed to helping you understand what healthy relationships truly look like. And, I'm passionate about helping to end cycles of abuse. I've been there. I understand. Let's work together to create an empowered future for you.
